The official launch of an inquiry of the practices of Cell Phone Companies has started by the FCC. This could possibly lead to regulations of the Wireless Cell Phone industry, that would result in better prices for Wireless Cell Phones, and also Wireless Plans.
Now that the Wireless Cell Phone has impacted the oven estimated 275 million Americans, they want to ensure that the Cell Phone Companies continue to benefit consumers.
The vote was unanimous among the five FCC commissioners, to look into the industry of Wireless Cell Phones.
The four major carriers being AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and Sprint will have their business practices investigated, especially exclusive deals between certain Wireless Cell Phones, and Cell Phone Companies.
The FCC has let it be known that any industry problems with the Cell Phone Companies will be corrected.
